This Grass is very adaptable taking well to full sun or semi-shaded positions in a wide range of soil types such as sand, clay, chalk or loam. It pairs well planted in front of  perennials like Rudbeckia which yellow and dark centre flowers compliment the warm copper colours of the grass.
