One of my favourite plants for its versatility and classic cottage style whimsy. Erigeron karvinskianus is one of the most hard‑working, charming plants you can have in your garden. It spills gracefully over walls, steps, paths and pots, covering itself in hundreds of tiny daisy‑like flowers from late spring right through to autumn.
Each bloom opens white and gently blushes pink as it ages, giving a natural, effortless, look. This variety is famously tough, drought tolerant, and low‑maintenance, happy in sun or light shade.
Once established, it needs almost no care and will often seed lightly into cracks and crevices. Great for softening hard edges and creating that sought‑after “lived‑in” garden feel. It’s also excellent for pollinators, attracting bees and hoverflies throughout the season.
Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it’s a proven performer in UK gardens and a brilliant choice for anyone wanting long-lasting colour with minimal effort
